Have you ever felt...
Just kinda blah? I have been in the most blah mood lately. I'm not in a necessarily bad mood, but its just not a great mood. Between work and home life I've just had a lot going on. I started back uploading to YT and that's cool, but it seems like I'm just trying to fill my plate w/ more and more things to pass the time. I've been pretty uninspired w/ makeup, and hair let's not even get into. Anyways, that's just a short blurb about what's going on w/ me. Anyhow, I'll prob be putting together some more jewelry today and tomorrow so stay on the look out for that.I can't believe I've been on YT for almost a year! I can't say its been a roller coaster or anything. I had to step away from it for a bit to decide if I really wanted to keep doing it, and I came to the conclusion to continue. Its tough sometimes, b/c I get so excited about posting and making videos, but by the time I edit, upload, and get a few views its a little discouraging. All the time it takes to do the videos, and you want people to see them. On the same token, I've looked at some of y videos and found them quite boring. My real personality just never really comes across on camera. It really suck, but I'm a work in progress!

My life as a Marine girlfriend...so far
So I've pretty much been a Marine g/f for 5 months and it has definitely been interesting. My b/f is in Va and I'm still in Ga. I stayed here, b/c #1 I couldn't go w/ him since weren't not married and #2 I have a full-time job here. It does suck that I'm not there w/ him, but you gotta do what you gotta go, ya know? Before he was commissioned he went to OCS for 3 months and those were probably the hardest months of this whole experience. He couldn't use the phone for like the first 3 weeks, and on top of that his service of his phone had been interrupted nearly the entire time he was there. Finally we got all that straightened out w/ his phone and the last 2-3 weeks we could talk pretty liberally on the weekends. Long story short, he did commission and was home for 3 weeks. It was bittersweet, b/c they went by sooo fast and before we knew it we were headed back up to Va. Now, he's back up there for the next 6 or so months and to be honest it has taken a toll on me in almost everyway. I miss him so much, yet in the grand scheme of things I know this period won't last forever. I try to remind myself of this everyday and stay strong. There is so much I'm not familar w/ about military life. This will definitely be an interesting experience!

Now coming back I feel a lot more confident posting videos and just putting myself out there. I am already seeing a difference w/ the interation w/ my subscribers and followers and I'm so excited about that. Now I really feel like I can be myself and I think that's the best way to come across through my videos and such. I'll be blogging a lot more so that's definitely something that I have prioritized right up there with doing videos. Just remember everyone to alway be yourself, and if you feel you arenlt being yourself take a sec to pull and re-examine your situation. Have an awesome, beautiful day and I hope that if its rainy and yucky out where you live, like it is where I live, that you make the best of it and keep your head up!

Bedtime Blogging

Hiatus....over?!?
Hey guys! I know its been over two months since I've updated my blog. Truth be told, I was uninspired and very busy with my personal life. I had all the time in the world (well at least on the weekends) to be doing videos and making blogs posts, but I didn't. I always said I would stop doing something when it stopped being fun, and frankly it all stopped being fun, and seemed kinda lame. HOWEVER, now I have gotten re-inspired, and am definitely jump back on the beauty blogging and tutorial bandwagon. I have had two months to lurk through YT looking at my video subscriptions everyday, and for a minute there was just nothing decent coming up in them. I don't know if it the Fall or holidays coming up, but everyone in the "beauty community" both YT and blogosphere seems to be getting back to their creative niches. I have really been enjoying watching videos lately and reading blogs. Also, there was a weird period in time when every other video on YT was about "haters" and people being mean, and I just didn't want to be a part of that or associate any part of my channel with it. Doing videos and blogging is an outlet for me, not a job, LOL I have one of those. I do think I'll be doing a lot more blogging, prob more blogging than videos, b/c I come across much better blogging. I wish I came across better in my videos, but oh well....its a confidence thing and just actually have the time and passion to do them. I know I am creative, and so badly want to share that w/ the world, but if the world doesn't respond then its really demotivating and uninspiring. As far as YT goes, I need to build my channel back up, get the momentum going again. It got to the point where all I cared about was how many views a video got and how many subscribers I was getting, and funny thing I was barely getting any views or subscribers. It was frustrating and annoying. I saw all these other "Gurus" getting high views and subscribers out of the ying yang, and this wasn't happening to me. Now, I could care less. I'm putting my thoughts and skills out there and if they gets 20 views or 2000, I'm okay with that. YT isn't my life, its just something fun to do, just like my blog. The one thing I do hope for coming back off hiatus is that I have a more open line of communication with my subscribers. Like an actual dialogue with them, so they feel they can send my questions, comment on my videos, and even do responses, same thing with my blog.
